Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi. Transfer from the airport and hotel accommodation. Free time at leisure.
Day 2: MTSKHETA, TBILISI
Breakfast then journey to the ancient capital of Georgia Mtskheta, an ancient beautiful city known for its numerous old churches and enlisted as the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Continue to Jvari monastery (5th century) and admire the stunning view of the ancient capital (there is church of the same name in Jerusalem). Admire the confluence of the two rivers Kura and Aragvi.
Visit: ”Cathedral” Svetitshovelli – was founded in the 11th century – and is the sacred place for every Christian Orthodox. Samtavro Monastery, where the king Mirjan and Princess Nana lie. They were the first who recognized Christianity in Georgia. Feast your eyes and senses with the year-round growing, flowering and fruiting blackberry bush .. Here lived and preached St. Nino, the enlightener and the first preacher of Christianity in Georgia. Return to Tbilisi.
Enjoy the Tiblisi City Tour: Visit Cathedral Sameba built in the 21st century, and is the second largest temple in the World; Cathedral Metekhi’”’ founded in the 13th century; Anchiskhati-Tbilisi ancient temple, consecrated in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, built at the beginning of the VI century; Fortress “Narikala” – which is the soul of Tbilisi.

Day 3. KAKHETI
Breakfast then drive to the eastern part of Georgia, Kakheti. Pause in the “City of Love” Sighnaghi.
Visit Saint George Bodbe monastery and St. Nino’s grave who preached Christianity in Georgia.
Georgian wine tasting in one of Sighnaghi cellars. Stroll in the ancient “city of Love” located on the top of the ridge overlooking Alazani valley. At the moment it is completely restored in its original form. Return to Tbilisi. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4. KUTAISI
Breakfast then journey to Kutaisi, the center of Imereti region. Visit the 12th century Monastery and Gelati Academy. The monastery was founded by King David IV and became his burial place, and is enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bagrat Temple, erected during the reign of Bagrat III, is the main palace of the kingdom. Visit Motsameta monastery, Prometheus Cave. Return to Tbilisi, overnight at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5. Breakfast then transfer to airport. End of services.
